For the Cormier's

Josh and Kai are so blessed to have some wonderful adopted Grandparents in Canada. One set is my host parents Rodd and Donna LeBlanc (which of course includes Aunty Christine and Uncle Tanus). The other set are parents of my very dear friend Nat (aka Aunty Natty) - Hal and Eliz Cormier. They came to visit Australia last year and we spent the most wonderful day with them. They sent a beautiful gift for Josh when he was born - a quilt (which hangs on his wall) the cutest little 'older brother' bear, and a cuddly bear too.

In order to let Josh keep his own wall hanging, they sent one for Malakai as well! I've gotta confess here that I have a bit of a 'thing' for quilts! I love them :)
I attempted to make one a few years back so I have an appreciation for the labour of love that they are.

The purpose of this post is to thank the Cormier's so much for their gift...because it means so much to us and because I've been slack in letting them know it arrived and thanking them for it!

Here's Kai on the quilt the day it arrived, wearing one of the cute little hats they sent too (except he has a big head lol!)
He's got a funny look on his face here but it was the only photo we took that showed the red, blue and white edging which I love.

SO a VERY BIG thank you to the Cormiers from all of us here in Australia :)

P.S. You know what's really cool, the LeBlanc's ALSO sent a quilt for each of the boys, we use those in their cots in winter to keep them warm. I was a bit more orgnanised and thanked them when it arrived but I'm going to post pics of them soon cause I am so excited and grateful for these wonderful people who bless us and our boys.
