An update...

Aaron and I went to Lisa's 21st on saturday night - it was an 80's dress theme and even tho I'm seriously not a fan of the 80's , it was a fantastic night :) I had a great time making a fool of myself on 'Singstar' which I've never done before. This is the gift I had heaps of fun making Lisa. It's a whole bunch of scrapping stuff that I put in personalised packaging. It has like a Lisa 'logo' in the middle, then on the upper left corner it says happy 21st birthday and on the right corner there is a product description. I'm not sure if it's very clear, but you can click on any of the photo's and it makes them heaps larger.

One of my favourite things in the box was the little blue buckets (which did not match the theme at all but I didn't care!) when I saw them I couldn't resist and I'm gonna head back to get some for myself this week! They came in blue, pink and white I think. SO CUTE!

Josh did his first self portrait this weekend too :) this is not the first one he did, Aaron got to see that on sunday. He did this one yesterday...he wasn't that happy with it tho, wanted to change something later on but I wouldn't let him cause I wanted a photo! lol. He drew a really cool one later and I'm so excited cause he's never really been all that interested in drawing.

He came in from outside play yesterday all excited about something he wanted me to see and how it crawled on his arm and tickled him! So we went outside and he showed me this butterfly (which is actually a moth I think!). He was so careful with it, and it crawled on him several times before eventually it flew away. I managed to snap a few pics before he got away tho.

Our neighbours do in-home day care and came over this week offering us their old swing set and slide. Aaron said we didn't have enough room for the swing set but we could have the slide :) Josh LOVES it, and moves it to just the right spot in the lawn where he can slide best. Yesterday (just before the moth experience) he came inside and wanted me to come watch him. This is what he was doing! He climbs up the 'wrong' way and stands at the top - totally freaking me out and making me think he's gonna fall off and break his arm or something! But yet I was proud of his achievement :)

ahh the joy of boys!

The third baby massage class was today. Kai was tired and didn't want anything to do with it! He ended up asleep in my arms for almost half the session. Josh spent a couple of hours in the adjoining day care and altho I was nervous, he loved it and didn't want to leave (I think it was mostly because I had packed him a lunch box and he didn't get to eat it! So we ate it in the car on the way home).

OH YEAH!! We're taking Josh to see the production of 'Possum Magic' (I'm going to book seats tomorrow - call me if you wanna come too!)

I'm also hoping to go see 'My Fair Lady' while it's here in canberra too. Altho it says 'opera' and I'm ignorant so I wanna check that first in case I get there and it's REALLY really opera cause that's not really my scene! ha ha ha, just realised how bad that sounds...but I'm gonna leave it like that anyway :)

This is a really long post!
See you later :)
