This is what happens when I leave the boys home alone with Daddy!
lol, I actually posted this pic cause it's a good shot of the 2 teeth Kai's got now :)
cute huh.
cute huh.
Aaron took advantage of the beautiful day and mowed our lawn. It does something special to my heart when I see Kai and Josh with their daddy...and I thank God all over again. Sometimes I find myself wondering what it must be like, having such a positive relationship with your father. Not in a gloomy 'poor me' kind of way - more like a serious question, what does that really feel like? Whatever the answer is, I'm glad my kids have it :)
(Very serious business boys!
Mummy is slightly worried about the depth the rusk is going into the mouth)

Malakai : Ok Josh, I need to feed myself now!
After Aaron had finished the backyard and was about to move out to do the front yard, he was telling me about something that had flipped up from the mower and hit him - it's actually a really awesome story but I'll tell it another time.Anyway, while we were talking, Josh decided to check out what he called the 'warm' (his attempt at saying lawn) mower...which was quite an interesting use of words cause it was still hot, and he burned his hand pretty bad :(
I'm glad mum's a nurse because our first aid kit is very organised, and I've done a first aid course every year for the past several years so we sat with the hand under running water for ages (with me thinking about how much water we were wasting and then thinking my son's hand is more important!) We also have some awesome burn healing gel stuff that I put on and then a special dressing to keep the gel moist. Then of course the bandage (which mum told me to put on when I called her - I always call her when something happens!) which worked really well to keep Josh from fiddling with everything.

And finally I took some pictures (of course)
Josh really was very brave about it all.So with the ear infection, and the burn on his hand and a cold that just won't go away, our poor little guy is in the wars at the moment!

But still is such a delight and so funny all the time! I LOVE his sense of humour. I wish I could remember all the crazy things he says to me to put on here!
And Poor Malakai is pretty sick at the moment with a really bad cold. We've got the vaporiser in his room all the time at the moment trying to make sure it doesn't get any worse.
So it's a (relatively) quiet weekend at home for us this week.
Wow, long post! Catch ya later :)
