Eventually the boys got back from their fishing trip. Whenever Aaron's away he never gets back early enough for me ;) plus he'd lost his phone in the depths of the back of the wagon til about halfway home so he didn't msg me ALL DAY and I was getting a little...well, frustrated :)
But they arrived safe and sound and it was so awesome to see them. Malakai and I rushed out to meet Josh as he got out of the car and he gave me the BIGGEST, longest, most wonderful hug and said he missed me straight away :) what a good boy huh ;) Kai was so excited to see him that he squealed his little head off. So cute. Later Josh gave him a hug and told him he missed him too...awww...
lol, cause they'd been 'roughing' it, Aaron was all hairy and stinky but he still gave the best hug of all. So glad to have him home :)
Once the car was unpacked, Josh, Granddad and Aaron all started telling me stories of how the weekend was so awesome. Josh had the most fantastic experiences. And he was such an amazing little boy the whole time. Both Aaron and Granddad were really impressed (and me too!) Josh can even identify certain fish now! lol. I can't wait to get thru some of the photo's and post them.
They're going to do it again in maybe october once it gets a bit warmer. Of course Aaron is now talking about me coming too...hmmm...a topic for further discussion. I'm not overly keen on having no shower or toilet etc :) Plus once i get used to the whole idea, this is a fantastic chance for me to have a little weekend to myself!!
That's where having 3 boys would be very handy...all of them head off with dad and granddad for a week or so...mum at home relaxing, catching up with friends and scrapping. WOW, how my imagination so easily pictures this! But then it would also be sweet to have mother/daughter time while the 2 boys were away...well, all will be revealed as to whether it's a boy or girl sooner or later!! lol, funny that.
