One of my favourite foods as a child was tapioca cream (that's a link to a pic of it someone put on flickr - it looks amazing in the little jar with the cherry on top!)
we would buy it from the local store in Pambula and my mum would cook it up. ever since I've moved I've been looking for it but the only one you can usually get these days is the 'sago' type stuff with the small seeds. the tapioca needed for this recipe is larger and I have never had any luck finding it. well, my wonderful grandma found some at a health food store and we've got some! Soaking at this very moment...ready to make tapioca cream tomorrow :)
it is by far one of the best creamy sweet comfort foods ever.
and after the way I've been feeling this week, a dose of creamy sweet comfort food is exactly what i need!

Yum, I remember having that as a kid too. We called it frogs eggs, cause thats what it looked liked when it was soaking in the bowl and ready to be cooked. :)
