am totally MIA at the moment cause I caught a cold :( I feel a little better today but can't do much cause whenever I get up I just feel like I wanna pass out. So I've been in bed all day today. I pushed myself yesterday...I think i forget that I'm pregnant and that means you really should take it easy...
anyway, all is very well despite that :) have been getting some reading done, including a series that has lots of info about C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, their Oxford days etc. I am inspired to read more, particularly about C.S. Lewis. I have always had issues (more than likely from ignorance) with his Narnia stuff, although I have seen the first DVD and loved it, so am curious to see Prince Caspian eventually too. Anybody have any thoughts on him and his work - read anything else of his?
I recently did some more reading on Marie Antoinette too, after watching that recent release and now wish that I'd studied more history while I was still studying (although I fully believe I will go back and study again, particularly when my kids are older, so I'll add it to that 'future' list lol)
anyway, since my brain is mush I reckon I'll waffle if I go any further. Hoping everyone is well and enjoying a productive week :)

i think i'd love to be sick in bed if it meant i was alone and was able to catch up on reading!! my mum read all of the Narnia books to us as kids and we loved them - i have the penguin set she used to read. i also have two books of C S Lewis' essays - one called Mere Christianity and the other one something like Mustard Seeds and Elephants. admittedly i haven't read them cover to cover. i have another book called 'What Marie Antoinette wore to the Revolution' - it's on my read while travelling to work list! ;-)
