kids are so funny

I love reading those emails that tell of kids 'versions' of things they've heard. I think it's really funny. Well, on sunday night Josh did one that I thought was cute, even if not necessarily as funny as some other ones I've read:

During church he was singing, and I was all excited (of course) then he starts singing in the car on the way home, 'Jesus is worthy, worthy of all of the praise...' at least that's what I thought he was singing!!

Turns out he was actually singing about one of his beloved 'wormy's (that he digs up out of the garden) - and went something like, 'Jesus is Wormy, Wormy and all of his friends...'

I guess you probably had to be there...but I want to remember that one to tell him about when he's older!

A super crazy busy day today. I try to plan only one outing on any given day, but life isn't always that simple. Today we had SIX places to race to on a fairly tight timeline. Unfortunately we were late for Nicholas' birthday party :( thankfully it didn't seem to matter at all and Josh had such a wonderful time (so did I - thanks michelle and dave) it was great and I especially loved the party bags michelle made up! Seriously thinking of how i could copy that idea without looking like i copied it ;) lol

And sometimes God just knows how tired and stressed you are and provides a little blessing - mum got home from her study day in time for me to race out for numbers 5 & 6 on the list - so I could leave the boys sleeping here at home :) and she even told Aaron and I to go have coffee together before we came home...ahhhhh....bliss.

i'm glad you had fun. parties seem chaotic at times, buti think you should just let them be that! and copy the party bag idea all you like, since i lifted it from Becky Higgins son's party. check out her blog around late 2007!!
one thing i wanted to ask you about sometime is the routine you have for the kids, mine have become such terrible sleepers and i wonder how we'll all cope when i'm working! like you, one of of my simple rules has been if we are out in the morning we have the afternoon at home, or vice versa.
