I'm grumpy cause I have no brain. Literally. I'm struggling to put complete thoughts together, let alone complete sentences :( our internet is down and Josh has a chest infection and I had gastro and yep, this is one long run-on whinge sentence.
BUT i managed to move the bassinette into our room, ready for whenever she decides to grace us with her presence. And have washed the bassinette sheets (altho they aren't dirty) in anticipation.
We do presents from the new baby to help the older ones (especially Josh) kinda adjust in a positive way to baby's arrival. Last year Kai 'gave' Josh a Buzz Lightyear toy which pretty much immediately got dropped on the hospital floor and broke off an arm. He's been without an arm ever since - which is quite true to the movie in one part!
Josh asked today if the baby would bring him another buzz toy that didn't have a broken arm. I think I am simply inspiring consumerism and greed in my children with this whole thing. But I really couldn't tell you if I think that truly cause I just can't think straight at all (and therefore probably should NOT be blogging). Did anyone else suffer baby brain this bad at the end?
I have no real reason to be grumpy. Josh is getting better and my gastro is over. My mum has wireless internet so I've just hijacked her laptop while ours is getting - well whatever they do in internetland to get it working again. AND - this one is really cool - just as Aaron and I were discussing dinner last night (and I was saying lets get pizza since it's my turn to cook) the doorbell rang and there was an absolute ANGEL with a DELICIOUS meal all ready for us to eat. I've never had that happen quite like that and it was SUCH A BLESSING!!!! And we all loved it, especially Josh.
So I shall take my no-good-reason-to-be-grumpy self off blogging land and try to think positively and BE GRATEFUL.
May you all have a blessed wednesday and think many many coherent thoughts :)

Ooops ... I made a comment in your previous post that relates to this post. I was on a roll ...
lol all the best with the last few days and I will pray your brain returns shortly!! :) love and kisses
I had baby brain from pretty much the start with both til the end and beyond... I never needed a diary until I fell pregnant. I remember while I was preggers with Alicia, everytime we were at woolies I felt like I always needed to get Bi-carb soda. So each week I would buy some thinking that I had forgotten the week before. Leon was not happy and said I needed a shopping list from now on!! I think he put one time on the list - Don't buy bi-carb soda!! lol (Actually, sry I could be wrong if that item was bicarb - it was something like that!! See told you normal thinking never retuned!!)
The worst thing is when you call every name in the house but the name of the kid that's standing in front of you!!!!
"Stop that, JoMaBENJY ..."
Grrrrrr ...
lol thanks guys! That's pretty funny about the bi-carb (or whatever it was)Frances! And yeah Heather, I've just started calling the boys by the wrong names (called Kai Josh this morning)...I've even called them Aaron before! Keep praying Kirsty - I need it!
