i miss him being my baby...

I was talking to Josh while he was eating his breakfast this morning about how he's about to start pre-school etc. While he was finishing his weet-bix he wanted me to read him The Tale of Timmy Tiptoes (part of the Peter Rabbit series). As I started reading I stopped and said that while he's at pre-school he'll learn how to read, and asked him if he would like to learn how to read. He said no. I was shocked (and slightly horrified) and asked him why he didn't want to learn how to read. He said,

'cause I don't want to grow up'

Then we discussed how we could make him small again cause I wouldn't mind that either. They seriously grow up way too fast! Once we'd talked about that he seemed to go back to liking the idea of being a 'big boy' etc so I don't think we have anything to be concerned about.

I wish they didn't grow up so fast tho
