i was buying cute pink coat hangers from howards storage world (one of my favourite places to browse back in the days when I could browse!) this monday, and the lady behind the counter asks me how old my baby is. I'm juggling said baby while trying to get my money out of my purse so need to ask her to repeat her question. I answer that she's 8 weeks, and the lady asks me how I'm adjusting to motherhood.
I tell her that she's my third baby and it's going pretty well, and the lovely lady says:
'you don't look old enough to have three children'
I love that lady :)

Ahh don't you love it when that sort of thing happens... :) Although, I remember when I was pregnant and ready to pop with Alicia, I was at woolies & this lady turned to her daughter or grand daughter and said that I looked disgusting. (She also made sure I heard!) She thought I was like 12-15 :(
Frances that's horrible! What a nasty way to say you look really young. Hopefully someone like the howards storage lady will come along and say it like it SHOULD be said :)
