so I made this picture for her wall. it will be a part of a series of three...when I finish the other two ;)
while I was out today I found this birdie for her room as well
cause I'm a pretty simple-lovin person, I actually liked it just the way it was...but then I got to thinking that a little bling might be nice...on the crown...and maybe just a little ribbon...so I attacked the poor little birdie:
I really love the bling, and the ribbon on the stand...but am not so sure of the bow on the tail. What do you think - should it stay or go?

lol, thanks Kirsty. The frame is so easy, it'd be much quicker for you to throw one together yourself! I got the butterflies from Target, $4 for a pack of 11 - it comes with a mix of pink and blue ones. Grab any frame you can find and stick em on some cardstock. DONE!
I love the ribbon!! It's flambouyant, whereas the other decorations are quiet and understated ... the perfect contrast!!!
(Mind you ... green would look great too!!! ;oD)

did you notice the green in the picture frame with the butterflies?! And there's green in the quilt I'm making her (which may be finished before she's 18...maybe!)

It's just a natural progression, really. The Bible says that we will be led into all truth ... and the truth is that green is the BEST colour!!!
