Loved this...

I love reading this blog, and even though I don't always agree with everything she says I thought this post was great:

Just a Little Thought

and pray that someday I would be the kind of friend she's talking about. I really need to get back into cultivating friendships too!

So true..

I really think it is important for us as women to stop comparing ourselves to eachother, picking holes in one another, trying to appear perfect and hiding all signs of weakness. We need to get REAL!!

We really need to remind ourselves to trust our friends, open up and let them help us, and not be ashamed for needing help. If you can't do that with your friends than they are not really your friends are they?

We just need to get in there get our hands dirty and meet eachothers needs. I for one need to stop being full of pride and admit i need help sometimes and I can't do it by myself. I guess admitting you need other people when your main self protective stratgey is appearing not to need anyone is very hard to do.

But... "WE CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES US STRENGTH"... and collectively we are stronger than a single reed struggling against the wind. We need eachother. So lets get to it :)

Ok, off my soap box, just something that has been on my heart. :) thanks for linking that article.

You're so right Pam, we CAN do all things through Christ. And you're also right that we actually have to DO those things that Jesus has enabled us to do. Sometimes it's just easier to 'do what you've always done' but it would seem that God is challenging us to get out of our comfort zones!
Thanks for your comment :)

thats ok... reading blogs is better than finishing my assignment. :) Yup, dub me the queen of procrastination. Why is the last 600words always so difficult? I suck at writing conclusions and this subject is horrible. Want to write it for me?? I will pay you all the money in my wallet (which is a staggering 15c) anyone interested??

Who needs behaviour management anyway? ;P
Looking forward to catching up soon.

Mmmmmm - unconditional, non-judgmental love! I like that! That is what 'having Christ formed in us' is all about - my continual prayer for myself :)
