While we were in Sydney last week for conference we stopped into Ikea so that I could check out this dinnerset and see if I liked it enough to make it our new 'everyday' one.
From 2000 when I lived on my own, and ever since - we've used a very plain and simple white dinnerset. We're missing a few pieces now and it was getting time to look at something else.
I absolutely LOVE the Donna Hay range for Royal Doulton but it's a little pricey for an everyday set, and there is a gorgeous set at Provincial, but it's also too expensive for everyday...
Thankfully for our budget, I also LOVE this set from Ikea and so does Aaron! Totally a win/win situation. We are now enjoying our meals off our new set and it makes me happy :)
And I'm having fun playing with all this technology! Sometimes when I think about what we can do now with technology it just blows my mind!

I was wondering if it had a checker pattern but noticed it's on the chairs too lol. It's Beautiful!!
