So yeah, been super busy lately - maybe dot points would be a good thing:
- Renovations are coming along. All the new doors are up, just some handles to go on. The new walls for the bedrooms upstairs are all up, plus the electrician has been thru to do as much as he can at this point. The plasterer was here measuring up this morning, with the view to getting all the walls etc done tomorrow. Wednesday/thurs the joinery goes in and that marks the end of the major stuff I think. From there it's just the finishing off and painting that needs to be done. But I think we've still got at least another couple of weeks after this one before it'll be done. Praise the Lord it's been a relatively smooth run and I just pray it continues that way!
- I'm just huge with this baby! And no I'm not exaggerating! I retain water and so my feet are gigantic (gone from a size 7 to a size 9!) I'm not due til 31st August but I've been having contractions all day which I think are pre-labour cause they're consistent but haven't gotten any stronger or closer together. I'm just praying I'll have him either tonight or tomorrow...I really can't wait to meet him! So exciting :o)
- Josh went to daycare twice and I think we'll leave it at that. Not a hugely negative experience, but the place he went just wasn't what we were looking for. Hopefully we'll find a solution for next year - we want him to go to something like 'school' for the 2 days a week that I'll work so Mum only has bub to look after...
- I got random breath tested right outside my school last week! LOL, so embarrassing - mainly cause there was a colleague of mine walking some kids back from an excursion who saw me too...of course I didn't register but it's just the fact of sitting there in the car having to blow in that thing :o) fun fun
- Kym was here for a visit from Townsville and left last week. I miss her heaps! Josh was cute, kept calling her Kylee, or Andrew (no idea where that came from!) and usually if he got her name right he pronounced it Kin. I so wish she lived closer - I really appreciate friends like her (LOVE YOU KYM!)
