My good friend Naomi got married on the 6th October in Merimbula, NSW. We travelled down the day before in order for me to go to a dinner with her and the girls. It was really nice, especially catching up with everyone.
Kasey did a reading at the wedding (and did really well!) Didn't Naomi look stunning?! Her dress was a very pale green color and she just looked so beautiful. They got married on Mitchies Jetty in Fishpen and altho the day was kinda overcast and windy, for the hour that we were at the ceremony it was calm and sunny and the water was crystal clear. It was one of the nicest wedding venues I've been to.
I had nothing to wear so that morning I went to the Bridal shop in Pambula (where I grew up - so nostalgic!) and found this really nice black and red dress. It doesn't look that great in this picture but I loved it! Plus it was cut on the bias so it fit me better than some of the others I tried on!
At the reception (which was at the wharf - very nice! Very nice food too) Aaron did this message for me on the table. He is so wonderful - love you too babe.
Sunday was my birthday and we went out for lunch with mum, grandma Nonie and Aunty Ducky and Uncle Dave and the kids. It was really nice to have my birthday with all the family (except Matt :o(
After that we took Josh to Pambula River mouth and he had an awesome time running in the water and I managed to get this shot of him on this old boat too. So aside from the fact that I spent the afternoon driving home, I had a pretty nice birthday.
