being called mama

Lately Josh has taken to calling me 'mama'. It's gorgeous and I love it and hope he doesn't stop. I have no idea where it came from. It's kinda like when he randomly started calling me 'mum' instead of mummy (altho I didn't like that so much).

He's talking so amazingly well these days. Says most of his 's' sounds and even 'sh'. The little cheeky boy told me to shut up the other day: 'Shut up mama' he says...it appeared that he had no idea what he was saying (lucky for him) but I was still shocked. Hasn't said it since thankfully.

He is having separation anxiety with school this past couple weeks. I can't wait til he gets over it and is excited about going again. He's fine once i'm gone but just as I say goodbye and leave he loses it and it's really hard watching him sob in desperation cause I'm leaving!

Today Aaron and I were goo-ga-ing over Malakai and he was smiling his gorgeous smile, then all of a sudden he started laughing!! It was the most gorgeous little giggle and we just melted. He did it for a while and we kept doing things to make him giggle (I remember doing the same thing with Josh).

Tonight we had my Grandma Nonie over for dinner to kinda celebrate Joshy's birthday with the family. We ate the last of the fabulous Tigger and Pooh Bear cake and Joshy sang happy birthday to me and Daddy and himself. SO CUTE.

We ordered all the blinds for the house today and I'm so excited that's finally done! The painting will probably be finished in the next week as well. Mum's carpet and vinyl is laid (got done this morning) and our a/c ducting would have been all fixed up today if it hadn't rained!! lol it's so fantastic that it rained cause we need it so bad, but they couldn't fix my a/c !!! Anyway they're coming next week instead. Then that's pretty much the whole renovation finished!! YAY. So exciting.

Everything's really getting super busy now...lots of things to organise for weddings and special things for people. Plus the final stuff for the house - oh yeah we might have to get new fencing too...our neighbours are keen to replace the wooden fences with colourbond so that might happen in the next few weeks too. Crazy.

Til next time!
