Josh did well at school today. I told him he was a big boy and that he really shouldn't be sooking/crying anymore. He needed to show me how he could be brave since he KNOWS I'm coming back (it's so cute, when I get there to pick him up he's all excited and says, 'You come BACK!) and he ALWAYS has a good time once I'm gone. So even tho I could tell he wanted to cry, he didn't and he went off with one of the teachers and had a great day! Thank you Jesus!!!!
The Dr tells me I have a throat infection - how lovely. That explains the excruciating pain I've had all this week. I'm so glad there's still 2 weeks til Lisa's wedding or I'd look so horrible for her photo's. My poor nose!....
Aaron and I went over to Neil and Jeanette's house tonight to drop off a gift to them from the National Youth for all their years and years of service as secretary/treasurer. Sounds weird that we got to drop it off, but basically Simon (the prez) asked me to organise a fantastic dinner for them at Ottoman Cuisine in Barton plus a huge bunch of flowers to say thank you. AND of course he had to challenge me by wanting it to stay a surprise til they got there and received the flowers with everything revealed on the card!!!
It's been interesting trying to work it all out, but PRAISE GOD we got to their place tonight and they had no idea (in fact, they had assumed WE were taking them out for dinner! Wish we were, apparently the food is AMAZING...little out of our price range right now tho! lol)
They'd actually be there right now, starting to order and I've asked the lovely people that work there to bring the flowers out about halfway thru their meal...SO WISH i could be there to see their faces at that moment!! I know they'll have an AWESOME night and I'm so glad for them...oh and it just HAPPENS to be Jeanette's birthday today - cool timing eh!! I LOVE IT!
So I'm on a bit of a high from all that - even tho I still feel pretty rotten. A couple of the other bridesmaids and I are taking Lisa out for morning tea at the Hyatt tomorrow instead of her having a bridal shower and I'm really looking forward to that...I love going there and feeling posh ;o) thankfully i started my antibiotics today so I should feel SUPER tomorrow (PLEASE GOD!!!)
Catch ya's!
P.S. Thanks for the comment Frances - it's really cool knowing who reads this but also, I think Kai's pretty gorgous myself (I know you couldn't tell!) and I'm really glad you guys enjoyed Joshy's party - thank you so much for coming!
