So...I had to miss the morning tea at the Hyatt with Lisa and the girls cause I was still too sick. I guess I'd just assumed I'd be better but then saturday morning came and I wasn't up to going out...was so BUMMED! I was really looking forward to it :o( definitely will have to do it another time.
So I also had to cancel other things that weekend and ended up spending the whole morning in bed (which was really good). And now I feel awesome! They had a healing service at church and Aaron brought home a hanky that had been prayed over for me and i wore it around my neck all night sunday night and by monday morning I felt HEAPS better! Praise God. Just praying that the boys don't get it that's all.
Took the boys to Expression Sessions to get their professional shots done. We've been there twice before with Josh and LOVED the photo's. Today didn't go so well, it's so much harder with two!! We can take them down again anytime while they're in town tho to try and get better shots so I reckon I'll do that.
Went to Koorong today and got some books on getting thru 'toddlerhood' without tantrums and a CD by Sara Groves - it's an old one (and therefore on sale - my favourite!) but I'm really loving it. Here's some of the lyrics that speak to me right now:
- lol- the WHOLE SONG called 'Less like scars'...starts off with 'It's been a hard year, but I'm climbing out of the rubble. These lessons are hard, healing changes are subtle...'
- LOVED the words to 'Every minute'...the whole concept of long distance friendships and wanting to have everyone in one place...enjoying the blessing of those that really ADD to your life.
- 'You did that for me' - I don't have to cry anymore. I don't have to worry about what's in store...I don't have to know it all, don't have to be so proud or stand so tall...and I don't have to be ashamed...Thank you Jesus for what you did for me
- Oh BOY!! 'One more thing' spoke to my mother's heart! Especially this week when I've been so busy trying to catch up after being sick...
- 'All right here' has always been a favourite: 'Every heart has so much history...sit down a while and share your narrative with me, I'm not afraid of who you are...'
