lol - as a part of their sale, Scrap the Lot sold their fish tank too! So we bought it :o) we've been thinking about getting Josh fish cause he LOVES them - runs straight to the back of the pet shop to check out the fish whenever we go there. It's great too cause with Aaron being allergic to most other pets (fur/feathers etc) these are a safe option. Josh has named one Sharky and we're waiting til Daddy gets home from the fishing trip to name the smaller one.
It was a bit daunting getting it all home and set up tho. I had no idea that fish required so much care - like as in stuff to add to the water, keeping bacteria levels right and not using soap to clean the tank, vacuuming the gravel etc etc. A bit overwhelming!! Had to get a crash course in how to fix up what we'd done wrong (in ignorance) yesterday. So we've added the water back in that we had to take out to move them, and now we have to leave them alone for a couple of weeks to settle in before i can clean anything or make any other changes to the tank. I'm cool with that. Josh loves them...but keeps wanting to pick them up so we've gotta watch him! lol, so cute.
