We had Malakai's dedication on sunday 9th December during the evening service at church. I love the whole act of dedicating our children back to the God who gave them to us. I love the accountability of saying that we acknowledge they are a gift from God and that we will do our best to raise them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Malakai looked really cute in his little outfit. It was a different one to the one that Josh wore for his dedication as we had that properly preserved in the same box as my wedding dress for the 'future' - kinda assuming that we'd have a girl next! But also we thought that it would be nice for them to have their own to keep as well.
It was a really nice night. We do thank God for Malakai - he is such a blessing with his constant smiling and chatting. And he would be a blessing even if that weren't the case, because he's OUR SON. Thank you God.
