Wow, can't believe tomorrow is the last day of 2007! It's been a blessed, busy, wonderful, stressful, exciting, painful and memorable year. And thru it all God has been so good to me.
I'm really excited about 2008. I LOVE new things, and that totally includes a new year. My 'theme' (for those that have been reading my blog that long, and if you have - I LOVE YOU!) for 2008 is 'renewing my mind'. For those that don't have a clue what I'm talking about, I have a theme each year for what I'm focusing on (in prayer, reading etc).
I have lots of other things that I make as goals, but this one is kinda the BIG ONE. This year (07) it was knowing the love of God more, and the year before that was 'being real'. To be completely honest, it makes for a challenging year doing this, but I know that I'm better for it.
I've been reading this book thanks to a recommendation and I've found it really helpful. It's kinda where I got the idea for next year's theme. I also wanna be more disciplined with getting up earlier and being on time...for those that know me at all, you know that's gonna be a challenge!!
Have any of you guys been thinking about resolutions/intentions/goals (whatever you wanna call it!) do you even do them? I always do, not because I necessarily think I'll achieve all of them, but because I wanna be aiming at something. I like looking back at the end of the year and seeing how it's gone.
