The WIGGLES!

* This morning - instead of going to Josh's final swimming class for this year - we headed over to the AIS arena to see the Wiggles - 'Pop go the Wiggles' show. The traffic was unbelievable, and even tho we left with 40mins to get us there, we were still 15mins late (got to our seats JUST as it started, pretty awesome timing in the end lol! Altho I could've done without the stress)

I am so emotional at the moment...as we started watching it I got all teary cause Josh was loving it so much and I was so grateful that someone had actually given us the tickets (we wouldn't have been able to go otherwise). He had a great time despite the fact that he is actually pretty sick right now and hasn't eaten.

He had a meltdown tho when Murray came past our seat and the lady and her son that were next to us blocked the way to Josh getting to say hello. He went down the stairs after him but Murray was gone. He was devastated. Thankfully Jeff came down the other stairs near us just after that and Josh got to shake his hand instead. He really loved that.

Right at the end with the big red car song, they had a little boy, Jacob who was very ill, in the car as his wish. I nearly bawled. It was really special.

I'm so grateful we got to go.

* So lately, well - we put up the Christmas tree. Read this version of the Three Trees just before we decorated it together on saturday. It was really special. Saturday was an awesome day in general cause we didn't have anything planned. It was our first saturday in MONTHS that we didn't have to do anything or go anywhere. We did the tree and then made Christmas puddings together for the 3 Christmas lunches we'll be having this year! lol. Josh helped and it was a really nice time.

* Looking forward to my brother coming to stay. He arrives sunday night (so misses me singing at the carols night at church :( but I'm really looking forward to him being here and of course so is Josh! It'll be nice for him to meet Kai too.

* Sent out all the Christmas cards today. I joked with Ben that I was aiming for ours to be the last Christmas card they'll receive this season. I tend to only send them to family and friends far away, and to work colleagues. I was debating this year whether I should send a whole bunch to friends in Canberra too...still haven't decided ;)

* On monday we had Josh's final class of Educational Gymnastics at the YMCA in Woden. Then we went back to Mary's place for a little break up party. We had such a great time. The mum's who went to that class were all so lovely. I really hope we stay in touch. I'm still not sure whether we'll put Josh in Ed Gym again next year, only because we're looking at schooling options and that might change plans in the new year. We'll see. It's really good for gross motor skills but he needs a little more developing with his fine motor so I might even look into something for that.

* Oh yeah! On sunday Josh was in his first ever Sunday School Presentation at church! I was so proud. He and his class sang 'Little Birdy with a Yellow Bill', 'Jesus made my fingers' and 'Yes, Jesus loves me'. They were so adorable. Josh knows the songs (generally) really well, but of course got nervous and distracted while he was on the platform and spent a lot of time looking around and distracting Jono instead of singing! lol. So cute.
