There's just something so special

about the quiet that descends on our house around 7.30-8pm every night. There's a few reasons why I love it:

~ Firstly, in order for me to notice the quiet at that time, it means that it's not like that during the day. Which means I'm blessed with 2 amazing boys that make my day busy, fun, challenging, tiring and rewarding. And I appreciate when they are sleeping peacefully (and love to sneak in to their rooms for a peek at how gorgeous they look too!)

~ It means dinner is finished. A time where we all sit around the table together. Where we thank Jesus for His provision, teach Josh how to eat properly (and he's doing SO WELL!) and talk about our day.

~ And finally it means that a whole evening stretches out before me with many possibilities! At the moment we don't have a lot on at night during the week (I love this time of the year!) so I have the choice of reading, getting to bed early, spending special time just being with Aaron, doing some scrapping now that I've cleaned the study, or get some school work done since it's that time of year again!

So I thank God for this time of the evening :)
