Between making sure Josh is eating without spillage and feeding Kai, I get the occasional random bite - if I'm lucky and very organised!!!
But once upon a time, I liked to read A LOT. Lately I have been re-reading all my children's development/raising good kids books and my women's devotional/organisational books.
Just a few I have on the go right now:
for my family
F Babywise
F The Most Important Place on Earth
F God’s Wisdom for a Woman’s Life
F A Woman After God’s Own Heart
F Life Management for Busy Women
F God’s Power to Change Your Life
Obviously with that many on the go at once, I'm grabbing bits out that are relevant right now (and I've pretty much read them all before, except the last one on each list). I'm in the process of working out my own systems/organisational plans around here. Seems like it's taken me forever, but it's such a learning curve and I only now feel like I can really get my head into it.
I guess I love reading because I love learning. I always want to be learning new things. Especially in relation to the areas of my life that matter most -
being:
a child of God
a wife
a mother
a teacher
a friend
Perhaps that's why I love the internet too :) lots of information so readily available. And a chance to stay more in contact with friends :)
(But I'm also being disciplined about how much time I spend on here now! I'm so excited, I have kept to my limits {lol, give or take 10mins!!} pretty much all this week! Praise God!)
