(Just one of the photo's I took at Floriade this year)

Josh had his x-ray today to see the whereabouts of the screw. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to pick up the films yet so we still don't know! lol. He was absolutely perfect while we were there too...one of those seriously proud mum moments :)

One of my midwives checked my iron levels again yesterday at my appointment and discovered that it's still low, despite taking iron supplements so I have to take 2 now. Now that could explain why I've been so wretchedly tired lately! She was wonderful with Josh - he came with me to hear the baby's heartbeat again, and she even put the doppler device/monitor on his chest so he could hear his own heartbeat. It was really cool.

I had another look at that baby blanket I thought I liked, and when it's spread out on a bed it looks really busy. So there goes that idea. Might be nice not to be so picky, but it's my first girl! So I reckon I can be a little picky about her room ;)

I have been working on getting Christmas organised. I've started writing out cards, I've spent ages fiddling with online orders for personalised photo calendars for the family...and a little fun 'Year in Review' photo book for us (thought I'd have a play around with it since they're only $9.95 at Big W right now - one day I'll do a really nice hardcover one, but this time is just me learning how to work all this stuff). At another time I would have done it all myself, but I'm kinda running out of both time and motivation at this stage!

Off to work tomorrow. Such a relief to know that our reports are all done EARLY. For me it's the first time ever, and I could definitely get used to this feeling :)

Also about to start on Jessica Sprague's 'Stories in Hand' class. Looks like it'll be really good. I am dying to do her 'Up and Running with Photoshop' class too, but it's $45! And with the aussie dollar not as strong as it was, I'm reluctant to part with that sort of cash just yet. Might have to be one of those 'gold coin' savings things...you know, where you save all your gold for 'something'...we'll see ;) it could be very dangerous cause I just realised she also has an intermediate course and an advanced course to do after the beginner one...oh dear

It's fairly cheap too - $29.95-$39.95 That's what I needed everytime I thought there was something wrong with A & D. lol I'm glad to hear Jessica Sprague's class looks good coz I signed up but haven't had a chance to read 4-5 of her emails :/
