a few pics

Ariella and I at Potoroo Palace

I love her curly hair!! Josh saw a baby girl with a ponytail sticking straight up off the top of her head today and wants me to do Ariella's hair like that now :) we'll see how I go!

Malakai and Josh at Potoroo Palace. Kai will occasionally let me take his picture now, and even throw in a smile every now and then (yes, that's his smile!).

Josh and Kai on the boardwalk at Merimbula. Another smile! Aaron took them out for the morning before the rain came back again.

Josh and Olivia after their ride down to the mailbox and back. Once Kai had his turn he wouldn't take the helmet off for anything!

Don't they look adorable!!

I think we have a break through, Kai actually asked me to take his picture AND smiled tonight while I had the camera out! I don't believe it. He cut his cheek on something in the yard this afternoon too poor fella...Josh comes to the back door telling me 'he's bleeding'...not my favourite words! He's fine tho, praise God :)

And a little creativity. I love cotton and knitted dish cloths, and always thought one day I'd make my own...well, thanks to a friend posting a link to a nice pattern for them this week (and a sale at spotlight!) I've just about finished my first one! I'm really excited - mostly because I'd stagnated on the cardi I'm making Ella cause I had to use 2 colours and didn't know how to join...well now I do! Plus I love the colours :) I almost don't want to use it to wash the dishes!

Edited to add: I just finished it! It took me 1 day to complete (not knitting the whole time of course, I wish!! lol) and aside from one dropped stitch that I had to get mum's help with, I did the whole thing myself! YAY!!!

I'm also getting into making some mini albums. For some weird reason I've always thought they were a waste of time (?) but thankfully I've seen the light and have got a lot of fun stuff together and now just need to get busy creating.

Love the colours in the dish cloth! Well done ;) I wouldn't want to use them for dishes either. Maybe you can just drape it over the tap!
