Our study revamp :)

We've moved our futon in here to make it a guest room/study.
Here's Ella showing off the couch for us lol. One of my favourite things about this room is the huge window and the amount of natural light it gets.

The view the other way. Our new Ikea bookshelf :) !!!! I'm still fiddling with how to fill it without it getting all 'messy-looking'. It's definitely still a work in progress.

I painted the wooden thing on this bookcase (finally! Ive been meaning to do it for 3yrs). It's now the same colour as the walls, which I love! It makes the room feel so much lighter. Not to mention a lot less holes in the walls lol.

I still need to declutter a bit more...I was a bit shocked at how much scrapbooking product I had accumulated over the years. Especially recently when I haven't been scrapping as much. I got rid of a lot of it, but I think I still need to get rid of more that I probably won't use.

And here's our new baby lol!!! I love it!! still finding my way around, but it's just such a wonderful computer. Add to that the lack of cables and of course, no BIG box and I'm head over heels ;) the keyboard is wireless and tiny so we just tuck it under the screen when we're not using it - keeps the desk clear and keeps the keyboard out of reach of little hands.

I picked up the rail, tins and spice rack at Ikea as well, and it's definitely another favourite thing in the room. I love that it keeps that stuff up off the table but still easily accessible.

I'm not a fan of the filing cabinet, but it's staying until we can find a suitable alternative (and we can justify spending any more money on this room lol!!)

So there you go...a sneak peak into our study makeover. I'm sure it won't always look this clean and tidy, like right now there's some scrapping stuff on the 'scrapping' side of the desk and the old computer is still on the floor til I find some motivation to get the photo's transferred across. But I'm going to try! I love it when it's tidy :)
