Meet 'Oopsie'. He's the project I've been working on lately. He's an octopus and I confess I often spent more than 15min chunks working on him. It was challenging and fun. And proved that I could do sewing without hurting myself lol! He's moved on to his new home now :) and I'm already thinking about what to make next ;)

He is gorgeous Kylee!!!!! Thank you so much - matches the mobile & 'soon-to-be-finished' quilt in Lucas's room perfectly ;)
I was hoping he'd match! And that you'd end up using that range for Lucas and not Lachlan lol :) I look forward to seeing the mobile and quilt too (hint hint!)
Well done! Very cute! :)
Thanks Ruth :)
Any chance of stealing the pattern for this guy from you? I haven't sewn much myself but I just LOVE those guy and would love to be able to make one when my skill reaches this level!
Hi Christine :)
I got the pattern from the Moda Bake Shop:

I just used straight fabric for this guy rather than piecing a jelly roll together, and I left some things off cause I was concerned they might make him look a little more girly than I was aiming for (like the yo-yo's and the pink cheeks) :) but otherwise it's pretty much the same. Enjoy!!
Hey Kylee! I had never looked at the moda bake shop site long enough to see all the great free patterns. I am having fun now looking through what I want to make...one day :)
Thanks Kylee!
It's awesome isn't it? I've spent far too long wandering thru that site ;) trouble is, it often leaves me overwhelmed with too many things to choose from!
