I love books. (I'm definitely a 'happy ending' person though). And I love cool illustrations. When I found Nick Bland's 'The Very Cranky Bear' I LOVED IT.
I also love, 'A Monster Wrote Me a Letter' and "When Henry Caught Imaginitis'. The little girl in a Monster Wrote me a Letter reminds me of Ariella. Just as I typed that I had the feeling I've blogged about this before...hmmm...oh well!
The most recent Scholastic catalogue has his new book, The Very Itchy Bear and I can't wait til it comes. It also had The Wrong Book and I've Lost My Kisses. I was in Nick Bland book heaven.I also love that he's an Australian writer who's lived on a farm and in the bush and even Darwin.
I don't know how we're going to store all the books we own if we keep purchasing at the same rate over the next however many years. I find it really hard to purge books. Really hard.
