I managed to pull this one pic from fb, it's Josh's birthday cake from his party recently. He had an awesome time at AMF bowling (so did Malakai and Ariella!)

So what's been happening with us...
* Malakai is all set to start preschool in Feb 2012. We had his information night last week and although I'm a little nervous, and sad that he's not going to the same preschool that josh went to, we'll take it a day at a time and I'm hoping all will be well. He's certainly ready to go, I'm amazed at what he's picked up just because he's interested. We've barely done any work, so I wonder what he'd be up to if I was more into seriously teaching at this age lol. he's also started playing soccer, and he's so excited about it, even scored a goal!
* It feels like Josh is enormous these days. He always eats more than me and I'm concerned for how things will be when both he and Kai are teenagers! He's doing really well with cricket this year and has worked really hard on his reading and I'm so proud of his progress. He regularly gets 19 or 20 out of 20 in his weekly spelling tests and LOVES Maths (didn't get that from me!). He's got his first piano recital/concert thingy at the end of the year and I can't wait, it'll be so cute!
* Ariella is almost 3 and just adores her brothers, calls them 'my boys'. Her latest funny thing that she loves is 'minty string' (dental floss). She loves mints and lip gloss and babies lol. Oh and doll houses :) and waking me up sometime between 5 and 6am every morning :(
Just a little update, will try and post more regularly, even if they end up being 'photo-less' posts ;)

Hey, bout time you updated :) The teacher at Josh's old Preschool (without naming her) has resigned. She wouldn't be there next year anyway. So the Lord knew when you enroled Malakai elsewhere.
Have a great week and talk to you soon,
Pamela
Thanks for that Pam! Somehow it does make me feel better, knowing that she wouldn't be there anyway lol! Also a reminder that God is always working...I need to trust Him more!

You really don't want to know how much teenage boys eat!! ESPECIALLY after they've been active!!!
Ugh ...
