Date night

On Thursday night Aaron and I enjoyed dinner out in the city, followed by dessert at Koko Black. I had had a hot chocolate from there last year and hated it! The worst I've ever had :( I tried to persevere but eventually threw it out without finishing it.

I wanted to give them another chance, particularly because their chocolate orange buttons are AMAZING...and I wanted to see what their food was like ;) also, we'd had dessert at Max Brenner while we were in Sydney in January so I wanted to compare that as well.


We shared 2 plates, the Belgian Spoil and the Summer Spoil. We loved the cake and ice cream from the Belgian and the jube and cake (can't remember the name) on the summer. Overall though, I was wowed at Max Brenner and left Koko Black with unfinished mousse and a slightly unimpressed feeling :( oh well, at least the distance to the closest Max Brenner is about the same as Koko Black, so we'll just go there instead next time ;)

We had a great night tho - love date night!
