I've been spending some time checking out inspiration for decorating the baby's room, and I've come to the conclusion that I'm actually quite hard to please! I've only just found some things I like...I mean really like, not just think, 'yeah, that's ok...'
This pram blanket (pictured above) is one thing I just went...ahhhhh....now that's what I'm talking about'!!
Unfortunately I find that a lot of what I like is expensive. And I really DON'T like that part!
I also found these butterfly wall graphics on this very cool website :) aren't they cute?!

Then there's this cushion :) it comes with either white or pink background...
This gallery was very inspiring...unfortunately I still find myself initially focussing on the boy's stuff (aren't those tee-pees AWESOME?!)
Freedom also has some mirror butterfly stickers and a set of pink butterfly hooks I liked...am going to sit and sketch how I want the room to look so that I can decided exactly what we 'need' and save for it (altho it's getting a little late to have it all ready by baby's arrival...not to worry, it can be a work in progress). One very impractical but gorgeous thing I found while we were at Ikea in Sydney, was a little chandelier (I think it came in both white and pink) of course I didn't buy it cause my frugal/practical side won out (and we were on our way home...not sure Aaron would've let me get it anyway lol) it wasn't actually at Ikea, it was at some other shop in the same mall. Wish I could remember the name of the shop...
Anyway...just some thoughts on decorating and my own issues with fussy-ness ;)

Its all so exciting! Is that 'My First Room' The one in Federation Square? If not, that might be a place to go for a little inspiration :)
I am just thinking about changing Lachlan's room into a little boys room by the time he's 2...if you see anything else for boys, let me know! Ruth has a pattern for those teepees on her blog.
Decorating is so much fun! I love the cushion and the link to the gallery! It made me a tad clucky so I could decorate a room all over again ; ) After I read over what I had just written, I realised I hadn't finished Daniel's room! lol So thanks for the ideas : )
it is so exciting, planning out a new room. i loved the stickers - and a much easier to justify price that the ones i found - http://www.minifashionista.com.au/proddetail.php?prod=745&cat=49. they have butterflys too, but i like the robins. (i didn't buy them!)
