Praise God

My grandmother went in for pretty major surgery yesterday and praise God, she's come through way better than anyone expected :) I'm really glad, cause I'm not ready to say goodbye yet. I really want to scrap her entire life story before she goes too, so we can have a special memento of her.

So mum and I took Josh to go and visit her today (which just happens to be her 84th birthday as well!) along with catching up with my uncle and 2 of my cousins. My littlest cousin is only 8 so he and Josh get along really well.

Am trying to take it easy. Today has been the first really 'good' day in over a week. I wasn't in pain til about 3.30! Altho now I feel like my beautiful boys have passed on their bug and I wish they weren't so good at sharing :(

I just checked out the photo of me pregnant the day I had Malakai. There's not much difference between how big I am now and how big I was then...that's actually got me a little disturbed...

I also weighed Malakai today and assuming our scales are right, he's 13kgs! Which means he's actually off the chart for his age, weight-wise. Heavy little heifer that he is :) when I went into the hospital on sunday to make sure all was well after a little false alarm on saturday, the midwife told me I'm not allowed to pick up the kids til I have this baby. And she doesn't even know how heavy he is!! lol (altho it's really hard to remember to not pick him up...I can't help myself when I'm feeling 'good'. He's just so cute I wanna eat him up!)

Anyway, I'm nearly finished painting that stuff I wanted to get done before the end of october (nevermind that it's the 4th november now ;) so that's something that's gotten done. Makes me feel good since I haven't done any housework since saturday. BUT I'M NOT GONNA START WHINING. Only 54 days to go...how dirty can a house get in 54 days? lol, just kidding. I'm very blessed that mum and Aaron are so willing to help.

Ok...will stop rambling on now. Boy you can tell I really don't have much else I can do huh?!
