Kai is asleep (he's unwell, poor little guy) and Josh is having a fantastic outside playtime (can't tell you how much of a YAY!! that gives me!!) I took some photo's of what he'd found to do, we spent some wonderful time just laughing out loud :) love those moments.
He'd come into the laundry, 'borrowed' a wet towel from the sink and was enjoying making pictures by slapping it against the blackboard. It was heaps of fun and at one stage he was going, 'I'm the king of the castle, and you're the daddy rascal'!! I can't wait to tell A that one!!
I also took some pics of our roses that I just love. I can't really take any credit for them, I didn't plant them and I don't water them, but wow they're gorgeous.
Enjoying a really nice, quiet day at home :)

thanks for sharing that article. trying to tame the buy-ness of my life is something that has frustrated me for years! even more so, now with kids. i think i need to accept to some degree it is just "this season"...

yeah Frances, it is a huge blackboard eh! It was here when we bought the house cause the previous owner did family day care. We've actually not used it that much cause Josh isn't really interested in drawing (used to use the chalk in other 'creative' ways all over the place...now Kai just eats it...mmm...) but I think as they all get older we'll use it a bit more :)
